This is a great read:)

To me, this is just a way to read the new testament stories in say, a coffee shop(outside of my home); it's also a way to get friends interested in Christianity. I still trust the King James Version and the NIV as more reliable texts of the bible, but that doesn't mean I can't do a little reading of a paraphrased New testament. At least, it's better than reading Teen Magazines. It's true that some of the Blabs(Q&As) have rather questionable answers, but I think it's because they don't want to offend Catholics or nonbelievers. If you read this with a guarded mind, and still read your real bible, then no harm's done.

Fresh & Fantastic!

I have a 16 year old cousin who is a Christian. When she and I used to go to church together, I noticed that she is much more excited about learning about God when it is fun. She loves Contemporary Christian Music and I think this Complete New Testament is awesome. I read through to make sure that it was acceptable and that it didnt discuss more worldly issues than godly issues. I was greatly impressed. I also bought becoming and devos, though I havent checked them out yet. So far, I am thrilled that there are books like this that can get teen's attention and still emphasise the Word of God. ^M

A very up to date Bible with timeless truths

I really liked this New Testament for the younger generation. It is really good to give to people who don't have a big attention span because it is very colorful and engaging. The translation was very good too. The only thing that I would change is the way some of the girls dressed in there. It seemed a little questionable. Overall, this was a great New Testament to reach the younger generation.
