Introspective look at personal spirituality and funny too

Miller is a great writer because he tells us his thoughts on spirituality and I'm actually interested. He goes through all the phases I've gone through in my life so far, so it's great that we came to similar conclusions at those points in life. He's witty, charming, well spoken, and brief...all the great aspects of a writer. His ideas are somewhat radical but always thought-provoking and he weaves them into an elaborate life story. It won't change your life completely but it will have you pondering new ideas over the next few weeks.

Blue Like Jazz? Most Certainly!

"Nonreligious thoughts on Christian spirituality" is the perfect sub title for this book. It's a good book to remind one (so we don't ever forget) where we came from before our salvation. This book will bring you back to yourself, but not in a vain since. As a Christian, it makes one think about where the true values of our lives really lie. Like Max Lucado states "It's not all about me". This book puts Lucado's book in perspective, as if in a real life scenario. ^M

Easy and Hard

I love hearing people talk about how they fell in love with God. That's basically what this book is. The author writes well, shares his opinions and his story, and he shows you what real faith in action looks like.^M
