One of the best study Bibles.

I bought my first Ryrie Study Bible, New American Standard version, in 1979. I took it through Bible college, seminary, and have used it for reading and for my Biblical studies until now, it is worn and tattered. ^M

I am very pleased with this Bible. Anytime I can hold the word of God in my hands I feel better! NASB is a great translation and Ryrie does a good job on notations, references, and additional information. The construction is well above average.^M

Studied under Ryrie

I studied (all too briefly) under Dr. Ryrie. He's intelligent, balanced and fair-minded and all that shows through in his reference Bible. If you just get one study Bible, make this the one. It's comprehensive and detailed. It's also based on the translation (NASV) that follows the original Greek and Hebrew the most closely.
