The best series ever!

I LOVE these books. The characters are written so well and you feel like you are getting to know them as you read. the stories are inspirational and show an example of the love of God all throughout the books. You HAVE to read these books.

No matter how many books i will ever read or have read i am almost 100% sure they cannot surpass this trilogy! while the first is slow at first it is well worth your efforts ...definetely should be read by all

Intense Reading for Dark Times

While reading the first book, I was a little unsure that I wanted to continue. This series is very different than her other books, but you just have to keep in mind the time period in which the stories took place. The stories pick up about 40 years after Christ's death and resurrection. Rome was a powerhouse and it was a very dark time. The first book has about 4 different story lines going on, but it is important to understand these story lines to be able to move onto the second and third book. The second book, Echo in the Darkness, is phenominal. It will really touch your heart and make you reevaluate your dedication to Christ. It took me a while to get into the third book, As Sure as the Dawn, but again...great read. If you can get past the darkness, you will love these.
