It changed my life

Basically all I can say is that this book has changed my life. I have completely re-evaluated every possession I have and every dollar I spend and even the direction my life will take. It is quite deep and a tough read- it took me 8 months to work my way through it, but it was well worth it. This is a must read for anyone who wants to get serious about living the way God intends.

great book but too long

lots of meat in here for ppl that want Godly principles on money. this is a great book thats not just about what to do with your money, but why- however, its about twice as long as it needs to be. lots of meat though!

For the serious Christian

I'm a graduate student so all I can say is that his book has transformed my own habits of using money (paltry though my own income is) because Alcorn hammers home some very basic points. First, this book is *not* only about money. It's more about how money either supports our relationship with Christ or obstructs it. So the breakthrough we need is to stop idolizing it and to stop thinking of money as a proxy for security. It is not. The contrarian principle is this. ^M
