worth the price

I have wanted to try this translation for some time now. It is just wonderful. I wouldn't use it for a study bible, but for my prayer time it is great, gives a fresh insight each time. I know enough theology to know when the translation differs from the theology of my own church I can just re-translate it [case in point Matthew 1:24-25]. Theology notwithstanding, it is a great buy.

The most insightful version of scripture i have ever read

I have always hated reading, and the format of most bibles puts me to sleep. THE MESSAGE REMIX talks like we do in plain modern day english. It has caused me to want to read the bible more and to get the most out of what I am reading.

The Message Remix

I was very pleased with the contents of the Message, it took a little getting used to, since I have read KJV for 50 years, but I purchased several for grandkids, etc. Want a copy for myself and miss them each time I gave one away, but I want one a little bigger in size, and bigger in print if possible. This one is smaller than a regular bible. I do like the introduction to each book, for those just beginning, it is just the thing.
